During the APECS International Polar Week, March 15-21 2020, we invited everyone (starting from the APECS members) that uses a social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to share an image/selfie from her/his research or fieldwork that makes her/him proud to be a polar researcher.
To participate:
- Pick your best image/selfie (photo, figure, map, sketch, etc.) that represents you working or having fun in a polar region;
- Post it in your social network page (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) with the hashtags #ScientistsWhoSelfie #PolarWeek2020 with a short description;
- If you want it to be posted also in the APECS official accounts, send it to us (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) with the subject “ScientistWhoSelfie_ [Your first and last name]”. Please give information if we are allowed to use the photo on the APECS website and/or APECS communication channels and/or for non-commercial promotional materials (e.g. flyers, posters) after the selfie contest.
