We are excited to share the SCAR Open Science Conference 2022 Pre-Conference Circular with you.

The National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, takes pride and pleasure in hosting the SCAR Open Science Conference 2022. The theme of the conference is "Antarctica in a Changing World." The conference will be held online.

Editors invite manuscripts on changing Arctic climate and low/mid-latitudes connections for a special issue of Advances in Atmospheric Sciences.

Dear Greenland geospatial data community,

The QGreenland team would like to invite you to participate in a virtual or in-person user interview about the ways in which you use Greenland geospatial data and data analysis tools like QGreenland.

**Your interview will take no more than 45 minutes, requires no prep or follow-up, and you will be compensated $45 for your time and participation.** Experience with Greenland geospatial data is necessary, but no experience with QGreenland is required.

The International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) is now soliciting applications to be the next Cryosphere Working Group Secretary.

The Alaska SeaLife Center (ASLC) invites nominations for the 2022 Alaska Ocean Leadership Awards. ASLC established the awards to recognize those who have made significant contributions to ocean sciences, education, and resource management in Alaska.

The Climate and Cryosphere (CliC) project of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) announces an open call for CliC Grants 2021.

Goal: The goal of CliC fellowships and grants is to increase the engagement of Early Career Scientists in CliC activities and to promote participation of scientists from regions currently underrepresented in CliC, i.e., South America, Asia and Africa

Objectives: Applications for CliC fellowships and grants shall address CliC´s new vision and objectives as described in the DRAFT CliC Strategic Plan 2022-2031.

The 20th Karthaus Summerschool on Ice Sheets and Glaciers in the Climate System will (hopefully) take place from 25 May - 3 June 2022 in the South Tirolian town Karthaus, Italy.
