The call for science abstracts for the Arctic Frontiers 2027: Information/Disinformation conference (Feb. 1-4, 2027) is now open.

We have seven exciting themes:
• Natural hazards and observed earth change in Arctic and subarctic environments and societies
• Biodiversity Change in Arctic Freshwaters: Causes, Consequences and Conservation
• Changing Arctic sea ice: observation, prediction, implications, and adaptation
• Observation technologies for science, security, and preparedness
• The Arctic in Transition: Observing, Understanding, and Navigating Climate and Environmental Change
• Ice is a Critical Mineral!
• Information over Disinformation: Security, Sovereignty, Science and Communities

The science themes are convened by leading experts from across Norwegian and international institutions.

The Arctic Frontiers annual international conference brings together scientists, businesses, policymakers and representatives of local and Indigenous Peoples for holistic discussions about the future of the Arctic. The title of the next edition is Information/Disinformation. The conference is held in Tromsø, Norway on February 1-4, 2027.
