At the Earth Science Women’s Network they are aware that there are many stressors on the Earth Sciences community at the moment. They know this may be having a negative impact, and presenting unexpected and unprecedented challenges.
They are hosting these gatherings as a support mechanism to provide a safe space for everyone to talk, and as a space for reflection. They hope this will benefit the wellbeing and mental health of individuals in our community worldwide.
Registration, Agenda and Gathering Scheduling
At the gatherings, there will be a mix of structured and unstructured opportunities for attendees to engage with each other, accommodating a range of participation preferences.
They will host these gatherings multiple times in February and March 2025. Please note the changes in timings due to timezones adapting to summer time start times at different times of the month.
Tuesday February 25th: 1800 Eastern Standard Time / 2300 UTC (timezone converter)
Thursday March 13th: 1900 Eastern Daylight Time / 2300 UTC (timezone converter)
Thursday March 27th: 1830 Eastern Time / 2230 UTC (timezone converter)
Each gathering will last one hour, hosted by members of the ESWN Board and/or Associate Board of Directors.
