Are you going to EGU for the very first time this year and maybe feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of the opportunities?
Or have you been to EGU at least twice (online included) and are you willing to share your knowledge about how to navigate EGU?
As you may know, EGU’s mentoring programme aims to support first-time conference attendees and help them build connections with other researchers within the geoscience communities. Registration for mentors and mentees is currently open, and will be closed on 18 March 2024. Those interested can use this registration form to sign up!
To qualify as a mentor, one needs to be registered to attend EGU24 (onsite or online) and have attended at least two GA meetings in the past (including those held online/hybrid in the last few years). We highly encourage ECS (including PhD students) to consider signing up as a mentor if they qualify. More on the benefits of being a mentor here. To qualify as a mentee, one needs to be registered to attend EGU24 and have never attended the GA meeting or have only attended it once.
