Association of Polar Early Career Scientists

 

Cryosphere Virtual Laboratory (CVL) is inviting Master and PhD students, as well as young scientists to submit applications for early access to the platform. CVL is an open  science community tool, where Earth Observation satellite data and derived products can be accessed, visualized, processed, shared and validated. From September 2022, CVL will be open for beta testing by 20 early adopters and take part in shaping the future of the project. Completed projects will be awarded financial grants of 3000,- EUR.

Applicants are expected to have at least a Bachelor degree in the field of geosciences or equivalent. Familiarity with Python or R programming languages as well as common geospatial data formats is required.

The application deadline is 18th of July 2022, with the possibility of further extension.
