Topics

Malaysian International Seminar on Antarctica (MISA) is a series of biennial event which gathers researchers from different countries to share findings and experiences in polar research and also provides the platform for our scientists to strengthen existing and forge new collaborations.

In the 8th MISA, there are three scientific sessions: (1) Policy, Governance and Social Sciences and Humanities; (2) Biology; (3) Polar Meteorology and Atmospheric Chemistry. Besides, as part of the 8th MISA, two workshops “Tropic Antarctic Teleconnections (TATE)“ and “State of the Antarctic Ecosystem (AntECO)” will be held. This special issue will solicit and publish the output of this seminar.

Suggestions for other relevant topic are welcome.
