IASC invites you to join the international Arctic science community at ASSW2019 (22-30 May 2019 in Arkhangelsk Russia).
As you know, the Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) was initiated by IASC in 1999 to provide opportunities for coordination, cooperation and collaboration between various scientific organizations and scientists involved in Arctic research and to economize on travel and time. Over the years the summit evolved into the most important annual gathering of the Arctic research organizations.
For Arkhangelsk, here is some of the latest information, reminders, and deadlines:
- A draft program is now available.
- The call for community meetings is still open until 8 March.
- The scientific abstract deadline is the end of February.
- Funding application for Indigenous, Early Career, and/or Russian attendees is also the end of the month.
- Early registration is open until the end of February.
- Please note: The hard deadline is for visa letters at the end of March. US/Canada/UK/Japan residents and citizens should submit requests earlier than that if at all possible.
