The next Karthaus course on ICE SHEETS AND GLACIERS IN THE CLIMATE SYSTEM will take place from 10-21 September 2019 in Karthaus, Italy. The course will provide a basic introduction to the dynamics of glaciers and ice sheets with a focus on ice-climate interactions.
The course is meant for Ph.D. students that work on (or will soon start working on) a glaciology-related climate project.
This year's level of sponsoring of the course is not ideal, therefore the registration fee has to be € 1000. This includes lodging, full board, course material and excursion.
