Office of Polar Programs’ Arctic Sciences Section program directors will provide an overview of staffing changes, program updates, upcoming NSF opportunities of interest to Arctic scientists, and other topics from 11AM to noon on December 10 at the American Geophysical Union’s annual meeting in Washington D.C.
The brief presentation by NSF staff, with time set aside for audience questions and discussion, will be held in Duke Ellington 1 at the Cambria Hotel, Washington D.C. Convention Center (899 O Street NW, Washington, DC, 20001)

Stephanie Short, who heads OPP’s Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics (AIL) Section, and Ben Roth, AIL facilities engineering projects manager, will be available on Wed. Dec. 12 from 11am – 2pm at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union to discuss, and answer questions, about the Antarctic Infrastructure Modernization for Science (AIMS) project.
