Association of Polar Early Career Scientists

The APECS Project Group "Remote Sensing Database" is launching its survey "Knowledge, needs and expectations of ECRs in Polar Remote Sensing" in order to create a free online resource to navigate the world of remote sensing and compare and find the best tools for polar research. All students, PhD candidates and researchers (up to 8 years after obtaining their PhD) studying the Arctic, Antarctic and/or the Alpine regions are invited to complete this survey.

APECS Remote Sensing Survey Sophie Amélia Duveau

It takes approx. 10-15 min and gives the opportunity for ECRs to share their own experience with remote sensing (problems encountered, data access, training possibilities, role and importance of remote sensing in their study etc.) whilst also helping APECS to collect feedback to design a useful, open access database and website. Remote sensing users AND non users (or individuals who wish/plan to use remote sensing) are both welcome to participate.

Have your say! Fill out the online questionnaire here: https://lc.cx/N3eU40. Deadline: 10 May 2022
