This seven-day programme includes:

  • a #ScientistsWhoSelfie selfie photo challenge
  • #PolarWeekArt drawing challenge
  • a Polar Quiz
  • a Polar Fun Facts edition
  • a Polar Indigenous collaboration
  • a selection of Polar Movies
  • some Polar Short Stories 
  • Live Twitter events and more.

We encourage you to share your own experiences with us using the hashtags: #PolarWeek, #ScientistsWhoSelfie, #PolarWeekPhoto and #PolarWeekArt. Don’t forget to seek out and help organize local events through your National Committees!

We encourage all APECS members and National Committees to organize their own activities. Let’s promote and profile all those great APECS members, mentors and educators that help us to understand better the Polar Latitudes!
