APECS is excited to invite members and other early career professionals from around the globe to our 2nd APECS World Summit 2018! Hosted directly before POLAR2018 - the joint SCAR and IASC Conference - in Davos, Switzerland, the theme for this two-day event on 17-18 June 2017 will be “Connecting the Poles.”

Day one (Sunday, 17 June) of the APECS World Summit 2018 will bring together official representatives from the APECS National Committees and APECS’ leadership to discuss APECS projects and the current and future state of collaborative research between polar regions. Day two (Monday, 18 June) is an open workshop for all interested early career researchers attending POLAR2018, focusing on interdisciplinary research, collaboration and exchange.
