Born in 1972 from the desire to develop teaching and research programs in an interdisciplinary perspective, the Faculty of Arts and Science today has over 250 programs across all cycles, some of which are unique to Quebec or to Canada.
The Faculty setting the interaction between different departments and schools to balance the passions and the training needs of its students with the expectations of society. It thus offers an abundance of combinations of programs in three broad areas that include: Humanities, Social Sciences and Psychology, Science.
