Polar Outreach Catalogue

Partnering with the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) involved media from 40 different countries competing for 14 berths aboard the icebreaker. While on board, successful journalists conducted interviews and wrote daily stories about IPY, northern peoples, climate change, and the scientific research of the IPY-CFL study for media outlets around the world, including Canada, USA, UK, Italy, Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, India, and pan-Arab countries.
