Two windows on our Planet
  • General public
Two Windows on the Planet is a book for children, aged 9 to 12. This children?s book tells the fascinating story of the creation of the polar regions through the world of geology and traditional folklore, with an emphasis on Labrador. With the help of Inuit elders and community members from Nain and Goose Bay, Labrador, the author created a legend of the polar bear that was turned into stone. Formation of Labrador: Two Windows on the Planet celebrates both traditional knowledge and science and promotes the understanding of two perspectives.
