Polar Outreach Catalogue

During the winter 2007, five ambitious students of different scientific disciplines and nationalities joined up for a skiing expedition across Svalbard, with the goal to inspire kids and teenagers in polar-related questions. This resulted in a 77 days long expedition, over 1000 km of skiing and pre- and post-expedition talks or lectures for children, students (and some adults) around Europe. The team also received funding from the Norwegian Research Council for the production of a classroom education movie targeted at children in primary school.
