Antarctica and Climate Change: Hands On or Multimedia Exhibits
  • General public
The exhibition opened in April 2009 in the seat of the National Museum of Antarctica, within the International Polar Year activities, offered also an opportunity to 'test' different dissemination methodologies in order to ascertain which was the most effective way to excite curiosity and attract the attention of the visitors to the complexity of the earth's climate system. The exhibition was constructed with fixed panels explanatory of climate, fitted by pocket PC deepening the issues summarized by the panels themselves. In the exhibition room were also placed personal computers with educational hypertext regarding causes and effects of climatic changes. Finally has been realized a metal panel with interactive magnetic shapes. The themes of the panel, entitled Climate, are many and all linked by logical thread: 1- Geography/Paleogeography
Arctic
