Polar Science in Belgian Teacher Training

Polar themes are discussed in my course 'The Arctic and Antarctica' to future Belgian geography teachers. Taught by since 2007, it discusses polar explorations, the polar environment and climate change. It highlights the main Belgian realizations in polar science and gives suggestions for educational use. This class helps teachers become pioneers, as no current geography teacher in Belgium has yet explicitly integrated polar themes in their lessons.
