Polar Outreach Catalogue

Working for the Antarctic Heritage Trust at Port Lockroy (Antarctic Peninsula) during the 2007/8 season, and showing the Wide White Page exhibition as part of Edinburgh Art Festival 2007 has consolidated personal research into the representation of ice in paper. A set of easily-transportable artworks are available for viewing during the Oslo conference. An accompanying slideshow of paper sculptures and photographs poetically illustrates Hazell Designs Books unusual interpretation of the Polar landscape. Both exhibit and lecture are a reflection of Rachel Hazell's work and are particularly inspired by Antarctica.
