Polar and Alpine Events Calendar
To Friday 30 October 2020 - 17:00
The European Commission (Directorate General for Research and Innovation) and the European Space Agency are working together to improve cooperation and to identify the grand science challenges in Polar research that may drive joint EC-ESA scientific activities in the coming years. The European Polar Science Week is one of the first results of this increased cooperation between the two organisations. It will take place on-line October 26-30 2020. The first two days will mainly be focused on presenting and discussing EU and ESA ongoing and planned joint projects and initiatives, including the kick-off of EU-PolarNet 2, the overarching European coordination project, the presentation of the EU Polar Cluster and the ESA Polar Science Cluster new projects. This will be followed by three-days dedicated to Polar science with focus on the grand science challenges and coming opportunities for ESA and the EU to address together over the coming years. For more details and registration, pls go to http://eo4polar.esa.int/ before October the 20th.
