IGS Global Seminar Series - Three short talks by Early Career Researchers
Wednesday 22 July 2020, 08:00 - 17:00

This week is the 14th in the IGS online seminar series and is the first presented as three shorter talks from our Early Career Researchers…

IGS Global Seminar Series:

Wednesday July 22nd Three shorter talks:

Samira  Samini (University of Calgary) “Meltwater penetration through temperate  ice layers in the percolation ice zone at DYE-2, Greenland Ice Sheet”

Sammie Buzzard (Ice and Climate Group, Georgia Tech) “A 3-D model for ice shelf hydrology” and

Keir Nichols (Tulane University) “Untangling deglaciation in the Weddell Sea Embayment with in situ C-14 exposure dating”

And please feel free to volunteer to give a future seminar – just drop me an email: don’t be shy – both full length and shorter slots are available late September and beyond…! https://mail.google.com/mail/e/1f60a" alt="?" data-goomoji="1f60a" data-image-whitelisted />

Please register in advance for the seminars - if you have already registered you should be able to use the same link as last week (check and if it doesn't work, just re-register). Once you have registered please check the link (you should see the waiting room I think). Any issues drop me an email and I'll try and help. There's a short question to answer - please tell me enough to accept you! I'll be doing that manually, so just be kind and make it obvious... (I'm a PhD student with X... or whatever). Using your work email would make my life really easy.
