The biennial GeoComputation international research conference series (“The Art and Science of Solving Complex Spatial Problems with Computers”) has been running since the inaugural 1996 conference in Leeds. The 2019 conference is jointly organised by University of Otago, University of Auckland, University of Canterbury and Victoria University Wellington. Relevant include: spatial analysis and statistics, geographic visualization and visual analytics, virtual and augmented reality, cyber GIS, open geospatial science, computational movement analysis, complex systems analysis, AI and machine learning methods for geographical research, Agent-based modelling, cellular automata and geosimulation, geospatial uncertainty, spatial data mining and applied geocomputation.
Deadline for papers: 30 April
Deadline for extended abstracts: 31 May
