V Symposium APECS-Brazil: Achievements and challenges in a decade of changes in the national and international scenario
15 - 18 May 2018, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil

The event celebrates the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Brazilian APECS committee and from the last International Polar Year. In addition to celebrating our first decade of existence, we want to offer the opportunity for an open dialogue not only about polar science, but also on the role of APECS-Brazil in spreading science to society and the strategies to insert polar topics into the classroom. The symposium is an event with a scientific focus, where the scientific community can discuss the advances and new discoveries of any area related to polar science. It's a great opportunity to get acquainted with polar science, build partnerships and bring new ideas to address pole-related issues in the classroom. We are preparing a high-level scientific event, which will include the participation of senior and early career researchers from Brazil and abroad!

Abstract submission has been extended to 30th March, 2018.

Registration is open and should be done through the APECS Brazil website

APECS members have reduced registration fees.
