To Friday 07 April 2017
We have open seats on our new PhD-course entitled “Application of UAV Data in Temperate and Arctic Environmental Research”. The course is free for students and will be held at University of Copenhagen, Denmark, April 3-7, 2017. It is designed to fit students with an insight in GIS and remote sensing. Prior experience with UAVs is not a prerequisite. We will mix theory and hands-on, and focus on UAV platforms and lightweight optical/thermal/climate sensors, sensor calibration and ground truthing, survey planning, post-processing to orthomosaics and 3D surface models, classifications (including texture/object-based), coupling to satellite data, and analysis of the end results in a biogeo-context.
