The Geoscience Society of Iceland invites you to attend the 35th Nordic Geological Winter Meeting. The meeting will take place from 11th to 13th May 2022 on the campus of the University of Iceland in Reykjavík. On the conference website (https://jfi.is/ngwm-2022/) you may find several sessions related to all cryosphere components that we hope you will find of your interest.

Registration and abstract submission are open until the 1st of March 2022.

Field excursions are planned before and after the meeting. We cannot promise a live eruption, but we will have a field excursion to the 2021 Fagradalsfjall eruption site on the Reykjanes Peninsula on 10th May.
