National Climate Assessment: Alaska Chapter Public Engagement Workshop
Wednesday 12 January 2022
Location Online

The U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) and the authors of the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) invite registration for an upcoming virtual public engagement workshop to inform development of this federal climate report. The workshop is free and open to the public, and will take place 12 January 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. AKST.

The workshop will include a plenary session that provides an overview of the assessment and an introduction to the chapter. In breakout sessions, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the chapter’s key topics and their own priorities with chapter authors.

The information gathered in this workshop will help authors decide which topics to cover in their chapter of the Fifth National Climate Assessment, a major U.S. Government report on how climate change affects people and places in the United States.

Given technical limitations, only the first 250 individuals to join the meeting will be able to participate.
