Within the APECS events and activities framework, the International Polar Week will be held between March 14 and 20, 2021. APECS Colombia will participate in the Seminar "Our Tropical Glaciers, Imminent Extinction?" to take place next Saturday, March 20, from 10:00 to 12:00 am (GMT-5). Topics are developed on glacier monitoring networks in Colombia, morphometric analysis, and major social initiatives such as Cumbres Blancas and Ascenso Andino. We extend the invitation to those interested in these topics relevant to our country, the world, and cryosphere research in general.
