Location Helsinki, Finland

Polar early-career as well as senior researchers from Japan and Finland will come together to make new connections. In the first part of our meeting, we will introduce each other to our research. Then we will hear about experiences from senior polar researchers and have an open discussion about careers in the polar regions. Lastly we will discuss possibilities for collaborations.

The event will start at 9 am at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Kumpula Campus, Helsinki University. Anyone can come to listen and join the discussions as long as there is space available in the meeting room (tbc). Access to the meteorological institute requires a visitor pass, so you need to be on time to receive this from us. If you are interested to join, the best would be to contact us in advance so that we can arrange the visitor pass for you.

The full workshop program you can download here.
