Training School on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Applications & Forestry
The Training School will provide the principles and essential knowledge required for safe operations of the latest cutting edge UAS for scientific environmental applications mainly focused in forestry. This will include meeting with pre-fight procedures and calibrations, development of basic flight skills in real flight conditions, use of a wide range of sensors for drone-based remote sensing in a variety of scientific applications and practice of open-source state-of-the-art software for flight planning and post-flight process of imagery data.
