To Tuesday 09 November 2021
Dear ice-sheet, glacier and ice flow modelers (or future ones),
This is a reminder. There are still few seats available for an in-place 2-day beginner Elmer/Ice course the 8 and 9 of November 2021 in Oslo (Norway), just after the North Branch IGS meeting. This 2-day course is dedicated to students or researchers aiming to start working with Elmer/Ice. It is sponsored by the University of Oslo, CSC and IGE.
The number of places is limited and will be given on the basis of the first registered, first served. To register, send an email to Olivier Gagliardini, Thomas Zwinger or Samuel Cook with you name, affiliation, position and few lines of motivations to attend the course. There will be no registration fees, but students will have to take care of their lodging and attend the course with their own laptop. More information will be given later on the Elmer/Ice website.
We are now sure that there are good chances that the course can be given in-place (you should just have to take care for your personal restrictions, depending from which country you are travelling).
Best regards,
Thomas Zwinger (thomas.zwinger[at]csc.fi)
Samuel Cook (samuel.cook[at]univ-grenoble-alpes.fr)
Olivier Gagliardini (olivier.gagliardini[at]univ-grenoble-alpes.fr)
