We are currently advertising a range of glaciology and polar-focussed PhD projects, hosted in the Department of Geography, funded by the IAPETUS Doctoral Training Partnership.

The deadline to submit applications is 5th January 2027, and primary supervisors will be happy to help if you have any questions about individual projects. Note that international (non-UK) applicants must contact potential supervisors of IAPETUS projects by no later than 7th December if they would like to be considered. For more information on the projects, the application process, and our Widenening Participation Scheme, visit the link below.
