ICIMOD (International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development) have a vacancy for a glacio-hydrologist. The ideal candidate should be motivated and able to lead and coordinate ICIMOD’s work on the cryosphere–hydrology interface and build wider understanding of responses to the implications of cryosphere change for water and energy resources, infrastructure, ecosystems, and livelihoods across the Hindu Kush Himalayan.
The position is at specialist level and requires a PhD and five years relevant experience or an MSc and eight years relevant experience. 

The job is based in Kathmandu, Nepal but would require occasional travel in the Hindu Kush Himalayan region.
