Brief Description

Geocryology is a research team at the Argentine Institute of Glaciology, Snow Studies and Environmental Sciences (IANIGLA). Investigation is focuses in non-glacial cold environments analyzing natural proceses related with frost-thaw cycles, permafrost and their relationship with human activities. The research team develops activities in Desertic, Central and Humid Andes and in extra-andine Patagonia.
