APECS works with mentors and partners to develop webinars to assist APECS members and other early career scientists with their career development goals as well as to highlight current Polar Research. The webinar audience consists of graduate students, post-docs, and early career faculty across many disciplines. Since its inception in 2010, thousands of people from around the world have participated in the webinars.

How to Participate in a Webinar?
Participation in the webinars is open to all and completly free. If you have not participated in an online webinar before, its actually not as difficult as it may seem, and we can help you every step of the way. To attend a webinar you just need your computer or smartphone and an internet connection. We only use VOIP, so no telephone is required. We are not using webcams, so you can participate in your pajamas!
Check out the upcoming webinars. If you see a webinar you would like to join, click the link to the right of the webinar to register for it. If the webinar is in session, the link will take you right to webinar in session. If the webinar has not yet begun, you can register for the event. Registering for the webinars ahead of time is a good idea because you will automatically recieve an email with instructions and reminders 1 day and 1 hour before the event.
