Polar Outreach Catalogue

In the Netherlands EOC has been an integrated part in both IPY budget and program planning. Main focus was to realize a significant increase in awareness among general public, teachers and policy makers of Dutch polar science employment, and to create a legacy benefitting future generations of young scientists. To do so, 10% of the total Dutch IPY program budget was allocated to EOC activities and a specially designed systematic approach was put in place.
