Polar Outreach Catalogue

This project draws partly upon experience from SciencePub - the IPY project we both have had the pleasure of being part of. But we will also combine surveys (Questback), qualitative interviews and observations from our course "The Environment and Development" to investigate how this normative pressure is felt and interpreted. Among the questions we have for scientists, journalists and journalism students concern their ability and willingness to synthesize from the specialist disciplines of climate change, the tenets of balance and objectivity, risk assessments and truth claims.
