Sean's primary ambassador project is to help develop educational materials for grade school students who are interested in Arctic science. These can range from classroom activities to hands on experiments to outdoor educational games. The goal is to provide an easily accessible reference for grade school teachers who want quick, easy to implement lesson plans for their own classrooms.

Sean planned to conduct in-class visits to local schools to demonstrate some of these lesson plans and to share his MOSAiC School experience with local populations. He is also giving presentations to peers at the University of Colorado Boulder about his time aboard the Akademik Fedorov. To share his experience with a wider audience, two articles will be posted on the National Snow and Ice Data Center's website for which he has conducted interviews. One article will focus on his experience as a whole, the other focusing more on the science conducted by he and his fellow MOSAiC School participants.

Sean has provided input to a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) prepared by the Education and Outreach Team at CIRES at the University of Boulder. The course is freely available on Coursera and can be watched on youtube.

Further on, Sean gave a 40 minutes lecture on APECS and MOSAiC for the 6th Korea Arctic Academy, Sept 7- Oct 30, 2020, organized by University of the Arctic and Korea Maritime Institute. 40 selected students from UArctic and 10 selected students from Korean Universities participated into the online lectures.

Sean was also APECS Council Chair 2019/2020.
