The Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Northumbria University will host the 2020 edition of the British Society for Geomorphology’s (BSG) Annual Meeting.

The BSG is the professional British organisation for geomorphologists. Its primary remit is to advance the science of geomorphology, as well as providing a community and services for those involved in teaching, research or practice in geomorphology.

The Society’s Annual Meeting is an international open conference with the purpose of stimulating debate on new developments and advances in all aspects of geomorphology. It is a forum for emerging approaches to solve key challenges in pure and applied geomorphology and related fields.

Further information will be circulated in Spring 2020, closely followed by a formal call for abstracts. The anticipated abstract deadline and notification of acceptance will be in July 2020.
