Association of Polar Early Career Scientists

We are excited to share the invitation to the third edition of the MeteoXchange ECS Conference for an enriching virtual experience tailored for early career scientists in Atmospheric Sciences and related disciplines, free of charge! Are you a Bachelor, Master or PhD student or starting your career in science? This is an excellent opportunity for you to present your research, improve your presentation skills and network with other young scientists in a friendly environment.

The conference will take place on April 4 and 5, 2024, and will feature keynote lectures, poster and oral sessions, and social events. Registration for the event is now open, and will close March 22nd. The organizers welcome your abstract submission until February 29th, after which the final program will be created trying to accommodate participants from all time zones as best as possible to make sure everyone has a great experience. There are no specific sessions so any topic related to Atmospheric Sciences is welcome. When you submit your abstract, don’t forget to register for the event as well.

This year there will also be an online workshop “How to Science Slam” which will take place as a one-day workshop on March 21st. The workshop is planned to take place from 9am – 5pm UTC. For more information visit the website. The number of participants is limited, so please only register for the workshop if you can attend the whole day and have time to prepare a short presentation in the style of a science slam of about 5 minutes in advance. You will be able to present and optimize your presentation during the workshop.

You can find all the information and registration forms on our website: https://www.meteoxchange.de/meteomeet/3rd-meteoxchange-ecs-conference-2024/
