The Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS) is looking for an early career researcher or professional (ECR) to help lead the SOOS-Swedish Southern Ocean Network (http://www.soos.aq/activities/national-networks/soos-swedish-polar-network). This leadership position will be in support of the two Co-Chairs of the network, Assoc. Prof Thomas Dahlgren and Assoc. Prof Sebastiaan Swart.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of observational research of the Southern Ocean and be based in Sweden. The ECR representative will assist in organising network meetings and events, be responsible for assisting network communications and reporting, and will be an important link in liaising between the Swedish Southern Ocean ECR community and SOOS. We are interested in receiving applications from any disciplines and institutions based in Sweden.

The position will be for 2 years and non-salaried, but there will be a level of reimbursement for attending one meeting if the network holds a meeting during your term.
