The Arctic Funders Collaborative (AFC) invites applications for an Indigenous Initiatives Fellow. This full-time, 24-month salaried fellowship will be located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.

Fellows will have the opportunity to meet Indigenous leaders and learn about how Indigenous communities across the Arctic are implementing innovative approaches to environmental stewardship, cultural and language revitalization, and sustainable economic development. The Fellow will work alongside the AFC’s network of funders and team of Arctic Indigenous leaders, and will have the opportunity to travel internationally and across the Arctic while facilitating strategic development of the Arctic Indigenous Fund and supporting general administration of the AFC.

Experience in logistics coordination, project management, web/social media, and proposal writing is an asset. Candidates familiar with, and ideally from, a Northern Indigenous community, and those interested in to the field of philanthropy are encouraged to apply.
