Here is your chance to get a temporary position on the APECS Council Leadership before the opening of next term's election! We are looking for two people to replace two Council Co-Chairs (CCCs) until the end of the term (30 September 2023). Note that this position requires a high degree of commitment (around 1 hour/week), so before applying you should ensure that you will have the time to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
As a CCC, you are responsible for working with all the Council members, particularly Project Group (PG) Leaders. The Council Co-Chairs provide a link between the Council, the Executive Committee, and the International Directorate. They organize the Council meetings during the term, ensure that the activities of the Council members are carried out (e.g. Council reports, PG reports, etc.), offer support, and encourage collaboration between PGs.
This position offers you valuable insights into the APECS Council Leadership and is a great chance to experince the role on a shorter basis before applying for the CCC position for the coming full APECS term (applications for 2023-2024 Council leadership will open 20 June and close 3 July).
