APECS Canada Community Collaborative Research Resources
Community-collaborative research is an essential component to Northern scholarship. In the InfoNorth Essay "Working with Northern Communities to Build Collaborative Partnerships: Perspectives from Early Career Researchers"APECS Canada members reflect on their experience working with northern communities, summarize key themes that are essential for building northern relationships, and provide recommendations for other early career researchers to carry forward community-collaborative research. Many of these experiences and recommendations were shared during the Community-Driven Research sessions that took place at the IPY Montreal 2012 Conference.
As part of this essay, members from APECS Canada have put together several resources to help early career researchers in Canada interested in community collaborative research navigate the many resources available.
