ViPs (Virtual Palaeoscience) is a community-led project developed to col late and create a shared archive of online palaeoscience teaching resources , both as a short-term COVID-19 response and as longer-term enhancement of learning, accessibility and public outreach. Following a successful launch meeting in May 2020, the project has set up working groups to find, evaluat e, and bring together existing materials in a single web resource and to cr eate a range of new materials to meet specific needs. On August the 24th an d 25th, these new resources will be presented at a virtual workshop and pla ns for longer-term projects, including the creation of multi-faceted virtua l landscapes, will be developed.
