 p>In these Corona times, most of us are missing their professional environm
 ent. Hopefully, by mid-September the pandemic has calmed down so that we&nb
 sp; can meet again in person. We therefore wish to invite the Norwegian sci
 entific community in environmental chemistry to a refreshing and stimulatin
 g gathering in an informal setting at Hotel Alexandra in Loen, located in t
 he beautiful fjord and glacier district of Norway.</p><p><strong>Catch the 
 pulse of Norwegian Environmental Chemistry in 2020</strong></p><p>This symp
 osium is addressing leading experts, authorities, regulators and scientists
  within all aspects of environmental chemistry. The symposium will provide 
 an interdisciplinary platform for students, academic, industrial researcher
 s and public managers to present and discuss the most recent advancements, 
 trends and concerns as well as practical challenges and solutions in enviro
 nmental chemistry.</p><p>A dozen prominent environmental researchers and ma
 nagers will be invited for plenary lectures to address the past, present an
 d future issues of environmental chemistry. We invite you to provide an ora
 l or poster presentation at this symposium. Suggested topics are listed bel
 ow, though presentations on adjacent topics that enlighten environmental ch
 emistry are also sought for. We sincerely hope that you will respond positi
 vely to this invitation and call for papers. Please inform your colleagues 
 about this opportunity to share and discuss recent experiences and to be sc
 ientifically updated in a typical Norwegian informal setting. We look forwa
