DESCRIPTION:<p>This workshop is part of a series of research events organised as part&n
 bsp;of the ERC Arctic Cultures project. It brings together team members,&nb
 sp;leading international experts and interested scholars into dialogue&nbsp
 ;around the themes of the project. The focus for this workshop<br />specifi
 cally is to examine the co-production of Arctic knowledge&nbsp;formations t
 hrough encounters between indigenous inhabitants and&nbsp;non-indigenous ac
 tors. Presentations will draw upon empirical research&nbsp;and theorisation
  to investigate spatial formations of the Arctic and the&nbsp;role of North
 ern actors and institutions.<br /><br />Speakers include: Johanne Bruun, Ki
 rsten Hastrup, Nanna Kaalund,&nbsp;Jonathan King, Peter Kulchyski, Peter Ma
