SUMMARY:3rd Snow Science Winter School

DESCRIPTION:<p style="text-align: justify;">The 3rd Snow Science Winter School will be 
 arranged <strong>12-18 February 2017</strong> by WSL Institute for Snow and
  Avalanche Research SLF and Finnish Meteorological Institute at the FMI Arc
 tic Research Centre in Sodankylä, Finland. The school will teach advanced f
 ield techniques and relate these measurements to microwave and spectral alb
 edo measurements. The course will consist of field and laboratory measureme
 nts combined with theoretical lessons in the classroom.</p><p style="text-a
 lign: justify;">Any graduate student or post-doc working on snow or in some
  snow related field, this year especially in remote sensing of the cryosphe
 re, is welcome to participate. Those fields include everybody interested in
  cryospheric sciences. More information and details for applying: <a href="
