DESCRIPTION:<p>Following from the success of our Summer 2018 Data Science Training, the
  NSF Arctic Data Center is excited to announce the Call for Applicants for 
 our January 2019 Data Science Training. The training will be held January 1
 4th - 18th, 2019, at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthe
 sis in Santa Barbara, California.</p><p>The training will provide Arctic re
 searchers with an overview of best data management practices, data science 
 tools, reproducible data analysis in R and Github, and concrete steps and m
 ethods for more easily documenting and uploading their data to the Arctic D

 inner-to-intermediate R users, and Arctic researchers from all career stage
 s and disciplines are encouraged to apply.</p><p>Accepted applicants will h
