DESCRIPTION: The World Meteorological Organisation and the Intergovernmental Oceanograp
 hic Commission, invites you to a meeting of the Satcom Forum, 9th-11th Octo
 ber 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.\nSatcom 2018 is a free event for scient
 ists and engineers working in all areas of environmental science - includin
 g meteorology, hydrology, marine and polar science - who make use of satell
 ite communications technology to collect or distribute data. It brings toge
 ther people from the satcom industry, scientific equipment manufacturers, a
 nd scientists using the equipment in the field. It is a great opportunity t
 o learn about what is available, and to share best practice.\nThey have alr
 eady lined up a number of industry speakers, including representatives from
  Eumetsat, Orbcomm, Rock7 (specialist Iridium reseller) and Inmarsat, and h
 ope to have as many of the commercial satellite networks represented as pos
